Basketball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell was the 44-24 winner over Central when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Caldwell Bluejays wound up with the same score they had in their last game (43-30), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Kennedy Lowery and Ella Risley, who each put up seven points. Audrey Smith held things down on the boards with ten rebounds. Maddy Doyle took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Caldwell now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Central, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Caldwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 38-22 loss against Norwich on the 14th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-25 defeat against South Haven on the 14th.
