Basketball Recap: Minneapolis Lions vs. Southeast of Saline Trojans

Minneapolis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 64-38 to the Southeast of Saline Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-31 back in January.

It was another big night for Gannon Jacobson, who went 9-for-16 en route to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals for Southeast of Saline. The game was Jacobson's fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Tiernan Ptacek was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Minneapolis' loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Southeast of Saline, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.
