Softball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Minnetonka Skippers

Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 18-2 to the Minnetonka Skippers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Skippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 back in April.

Mia Haugen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Buffalo's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Minnetonka, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo will head out to take on Elk River/Spectrum at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Minnetonka, they will square off against St. Michael-Albertville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
