Salem Hills has gone 8-2 against Provo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Skyhawks will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Salem Hills is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight games dating back to last season on Tuesday. They fell 73-62 to Mountain Ridge. The game was a 33-33 toss-up at halftime, but the Skyhawks couldn't quite close it out.

Salem Hills' loss came about despite a quality game from Logan Karrasch, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Steven Taylor, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 14 points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Provo). They took down Spanish Fork 76-58 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Salem Hills better keep an eye on Makai Allen. He was instrumental in Provo's win, shooting 4-for-7 from long range and almost dropping a double-double with 32 points and nine boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Allen has scored at least a third of the Bulldogs' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Callen Tollestrup, who shot 62% from the field en route to 19 points and six rebounds.

Provo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Salem Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Provo, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Salem Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Provo in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 69-65 win. Do the Skyhawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
