            Soccer Recap: Longmont vs. St. Mary's Academy        
        
		
        
        
            It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Longmont can now relate to. They came up short against  the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats on Thursday, falling  3-0. The  game was a close  1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Longmont it sure didn't stay that way.
 Longmont was without their leading scorer,  Claire Sebring, in Thursday's   matchup. With  Sebring sitting this one out,  Mya Addington got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 52.5).
Longmont's loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1. As for St. Mary's Academy, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8-2 record  this season.
 Longmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's Academy, they will head out to  challenge Kent Denver  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Kent Denver will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something St. Mary's Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
