Baseball Recap: DeSales Takes a Loss

DeSales fell victim to Trinity and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shamrocks. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Shamrocks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

DeSales' defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Trinity, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-3 record this season.

DeSales will be playing in front of their home fans against North Bullitt at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will challenge DuPont Manual at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Shamrocks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crimsons have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
