Glenwood Springs has won three straight games at home, while Palisade has won three straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Demons will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, Glenwood Springs was able to grind out a solid win over Steamboat Springs, taking the game 30-21.

Glenwood Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zack Bollock, who rushed for 85 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries. The dominant performance also gave Bollock a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Landon Triebel was in the mix as well, providing Glenwood Springs with one TD.
Glenwood Springs' run defense was locked in: Steamboat Springs could only muster 3.1 yards per carry. While two picked up at least seven total tackles, Bollock stood above the rest. He rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Glenwood Springs' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.58 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 4.83 on average over their last three games.
Glenwood Springs' defense didn't let Tanner Cobb, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Luke Malone was especially locked on to Steamboat Springs' QB and sacked him twice. Glenwood Springs received some extra help from Triebel, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Palisade didn't have too much trouble with Eagle Valley on Friday as they won 28-10.
Palisade's win came from a few key players Glenwood Springs will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Branson Springer, who rushed for 60 yards and a pair of scores. He is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Palisade's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Glenwood Springs, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Glenwood Springs has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Palisade struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 300.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Glenwood Springs might still be hurting after the 35-14 defeat they got from Palisade in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Demons, Easton Embrey (who rushed for 72 yards and two TDs on only seven carries, and also caught one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
