Volleyball Recap: Greenwich Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Greenwich had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They won by a set and slipped past the Trumbull Eagles 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on six straight.

Greenwich was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (108-106), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23, 15-12.

Greenwich's record is now 23-1. As for Trumbull, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

As of now, neither Greenwich nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
