At the plate, Zuri Smith made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Beyker Fragoza, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Meanwhile, Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering lost 14-1 to Coolidge on Friday.

Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bell, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Bell was able to grind out a solid victory over Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 7-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Griffins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
