Basketball Recap: Churchill Takes a Loss

Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Thurston Colts, falling 55-22. The Lancers lost against the Colts in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 38-33 score last time.

Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Thurston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Churchill will host Eagle Point at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Thurston, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ashland at 5:30 p.m.
