Mount Academy extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Bruce Maendel. The Mount Academy Eagles walked away with a 46-37 win over the Rhinebeck Hawks on Thursday thanks in part to Maendel, who posted 24 points and six steals. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Baird, who earned five points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played.

Mount Academy's record is now 10-1. As for Rhinebeck, they moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Academy has already played their next matchup (against Millbrook), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rhinebeck will take on Ellenville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
