Baseball Recap: Iroquois Comes Up Short

Iroquois lost against Jeffersontown back in May of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raiders lost 17-4 to the Chargers. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Iroquois' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Jeffersontown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iroquois will welcome Doss at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Jeffersontown, they will host Fern Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
