Soccer Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Magee

Perry Central kept up with Magee until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Trojans never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Magee, who have now won four contests by four goals or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Magee, bringing their record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five matches. As for Perry Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Magee and Perry Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Trojans see the pitch they'll take on Puckett at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Perry Central, their break will end when they face St. Patrick at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
