Basketball Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. Livingston Academy Wildcats

The White County Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Livingston Academy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, White County lost to Upperman at home by a 64-48 margin. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Bees recently, as the team's come up short the last nine times they've met.

White County might have lost, but man, Tripp Pinion was a machine: he went 8-for-11 on his way to 20 points and three steals. Pinion's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Keaun Lewis, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Livingston Academy duked it out with DeKalb County on Tuesday. Livingston Academy strolled past DeKalb County with points to spare, taking the game 61-47. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

White County's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Livingston Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

White County and Livingston Academy were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but White County came up empty-handed after a 41-40 defeat. Can White County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
