Volleyball Recap: Dewey Find Success

After losing to Wright Christian the last time they met, Dewey decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldoggers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Wildcats on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldoggers.

Dewey was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (54-53), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-14, 17-15.

Dewey's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-2. As for Wright Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dewey will take on Sperry at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wright Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Sequoyah at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
