Volleyball Game Preview: DuVal Tigers vs. Laurel Spartans

DuVal came up short against Eleanor Roosevelt on Monday, falling 3-0.

DuVal took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Laurel came up short against Wise on Monday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Pumas: they've now lost three in a row.

Laurel started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.

DuVal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Laurel, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

DuVal couldn't quite get it done against Laurel when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
