Volleyball Recap: Springstead Find Success

Springstead won the last time they faced Crystal River and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Springstead easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21.

Springstead found their leader in sophomore Lili Klink, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Klink.

Springstead's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Crystal River, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Springstead didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against River Ridge on the 7th. As for Crystal River, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Dunnellon on the 6th.
