Basketball Recap: Gabe Baumberger's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Reed Point/Rapelje over Bridger/Belfry

Reed Point/Rapelje was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 57-31 to Bridger/Belfry. The Renegades were down 45-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Reed Point/Rapelje's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabe Baumberger, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave Baumberger a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Landen Bryant, who scored 11 points.

Reed Point/Rapelje's record now sits at 1-11. As for Bridger/Belfry, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
