Dunlap lost against Mascoutah back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Indians. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tessa Arnott paced Dunlap's offense, picking up eight kills. Arnott got some help from Caroline Holmes and her ten assists. Rebecca Lopez and Alexis Dupuis kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Dunlap's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Mascoutah, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Dunlap has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Washington on the 6th. As for Mascoutah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Breese Central on the 6th.
