Soccer Game Preview: Radford vs. Patrick County

For the first time this season, Radford will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out on the road to square off against the Patrick County Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Radford has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Radford challenged Pulaski County last Friday. The Bobcats took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Patrick County was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Glenvar, falling 6-0. The loss put an end to Patrick County's undefeated start to the season.

Radford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Patrick County, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1-1.

Radford was able to grind out a solid victory over Patrick County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
