Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aliceville). They claimed a resounding 89-17 victory over the Isabella Mustangs. With that win, the Yellowjackets brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

Aliceville was led to victory by Kaliyah Ball and Tashia Williams. Ball posted 19 points and four steals, while Williams dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 steals. Another player making a difference was Samora Jordan, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards.

The victory (which was Aliceville's third in a row) raised their record to 9-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points per game. As for Isabella, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aliceville and Greene County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Isabella has already played their next game (against Tuscaloosa Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
