Timpson is 6-1 against Waskom since August of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Timpson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

On Tuesday, Timpson made easy work of Elysian Fields and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Timpson was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Waskom suffered their biggest defeat since October 29, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Garrison. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-12.

Waskom's defeat dropped their record down to 15-20. As for Timpson, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Timpson took their victory against Waskom when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
