Baseball Game Preview: Ruskin Golden Eagles vs. Grain Valley Eagles

The Ruskin Golden Eagles will head out to take on the Grain Valley Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Ruskin is looking for their season's first win.

Ruskin lost 13-2 to Lafayette on Thursday.

Ruskin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myles Duncan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Grain Valley got the win against Smith-Cotton on Thursday by a conclusive 10-1. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

The win got Grain Valley back to even at 7-7-1. As for Ruskin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

Ruskin might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Grain Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2021. Can the Golden Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
