 Oak Park-River Forest stacked  a  14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They put the hurt on the Proviso West Panthers with a sharp  14-1 win. Winning may never get old, but Oak Park-River Forest sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
  Alex Kahn made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Kahn has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Kahn was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Julia Henderson, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.  Sofia Ayala was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Oak Park-River Forest has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record  this season. As for Proviso West, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
 Oak Park-River Forest will stay at home for another  game and welcome Fenwick at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Fenwick: 3.8, Oak Park-River Forest: 3.7) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Proviso West, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Hinsdale Central at 6:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
