Basketball Recap: Outreach Christian Takes a Loss

Outreach Christian played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Blue Ridge Christian Warriors 56-15. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-5.

Outreach Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Braylon Lust, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Davon Gibbs, who scored three points in addition to eight boards and seven steals.

Outreach Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Blue Ridge Christian, they moved to 1-9 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Outreach Christian will welcome Clinton Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Blue Ridge Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Heritage Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
