Softball Recap: Battery Creek Dolphins vs. Camden Bulldogs
After flying high against Brookland-Cayce last Friday, Battery Creek came back down to earth. The Battery Creek Dolphins fell 6-2 to the Camden Bulldogs on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Battery Creek of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.
For Camden's part, Madison Stokes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits. Stokes has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
