Soccer Recap: Spring Valley Takes a Loss

Spring Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Capital Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Capital this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Tuesday.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Capital, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Spring Valley will face off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Capital, they will square off against Oak Hill at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
