Softball Recap: T.R. Miller Comes Up Short

T.R. Miller lost against Fairhope back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The T.R. Miller Tigers fell 5-1 to the Fairhope Pirates. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kylie Walton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

T.R. Miller's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fairhope, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, T.R. Miller and Fairhope will both be playing Elberta the next time they take the field. Fairhope will head out to face Elberta at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, while T.R. Miller will play them later in the day, at 5:15 p.m.
