Baseball Recap: Eau Claire Comes Up Short

Eau Claire fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Fairfield Central on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 4-3. The Shamrocks just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Eau Claire's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Fairfield Central, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.

Coming up, Eau Claire will take on C.A. Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fairfield Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
