Softball Recap: West Craven Comes Up Short

West Craven couldn't beat Havelock on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles came up short against the Rams, falling 23-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greycin Wynne made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles.

West Craven now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Havelock, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

West Craven has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against North Lenoir on the 24th. As for Havelock, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Dixon on the 23rd.
