Avier Elvira Turns in Season-Best Performance
Palmer Ridge was led to victory by Avier Elvira, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Elvira rushed for 290 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards.
The victory (which was Palmer Ridge's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Elvira and Palmer Ridge are taking a road trip to face off against Rampart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Julius Arredondo's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Julius Arredondo posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 38 yards and two touchdowns, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.
