Softball Recap: Hamilton County Comes Up Short

Hamilton County fell victim to Flora and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 6-0 to the Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Foxes' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hamilton County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Flora, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Hamilton County will face off against Goreville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Flora will be paying especially close attention to the Foxes' game: after the Foxes face off against the Blackcats, they'll take on Flora again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
