Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Shore). They skirted past the Bayside Bears 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but West Shore were the better team in the second half.

They hit Bayside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ivy McMullin, Tana Burgreen, Grace Mannix, and Sophia Ribeiro.

West Shore's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Bayside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1.

Coming up, West Shore will be playing in front of their home fans against Rockledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bayside, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on the 15th. The matchup will give Bayside their first taste of in-conference action this season.
