Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Panhandle walked away with it. They blew past the Spearman Lynx 67-25 on Monday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 25 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

The victory was the 11th in a row for Panhandle, bringing their record for this year to 29-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.5 points over those games. As for Spearman, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-6.

Looking ahead, Panhandle will face off against Abernathy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Abernathy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Spearman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
