Soccer Recap: Tacony Academy Charter Takes a Loss

Tacony Academy Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Tacony Academy Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 504th, while Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech are ranked 167th).

Tacony Academy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Tacony Academy Charter will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Community Academy of Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on the 15th. As for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against High School of the Future on the 6th.
