Football Game Preview: William Allen Canaries vs. Allentown Central Catholic Vikings

William Allen is 0-4 against Allentown Central Catholic since October of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Canaries are taking a road trip to square off against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. William Allen has given up an average of 26.2 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

William Allen's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Parkland on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Canaries can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the Trojans are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Allentown Central Catholic strolled past Emmaus with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14.

William Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Allentown Central Catholic, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Things could have been worse for William Allen, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 37-22 loss to Allentown Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
