Football Game Preview: Desert Mountain Wolves vs. Canyon View Jaguars + How To Watch

The Desert Mountain Wolves will head out to challenge the Canyon View Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Desert Mountain comes in on four and Canyon View on seven.

Desert Mountain is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Horizon, sneaking past 20-17. That's two games straight that the Wolves have won by exactly three points.

Easton Conner had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 138 yards and two TDs. Those 138 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Desert Mountain proved: they limited Horizon to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry. The Wolves didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.

Meanwhile, Canyon View faced ALA - Gilbert North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 34-24. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly ten points.

A big part of Canyon View's win came down to the chemistry between Brady Scott and his top target Braylon Anderson. Scott threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns while Anderson picked up 114 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Desert Mountain's record now sits at 11-3. As for Canyon View, their record is now 11-2.
