Football Recap: Byhalia Comes Up Short

Byhalia lost against Rosa Fort back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians took a blow against the Lions, falling 54-14. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gregory Hargrow continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rosa Fort, rushing for 393 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 15.7 yards per carry. Hargrow really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Byhalia now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Rosa Fort, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Byhalia and Rosa Fort could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings. The Indians (ranked 258th) will meet Ripley (ranked 126th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. Meanwhile, Rosa Fort will square off against Senatobia at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th with a big rank disadvantage (144 vs. 44).
