Soccer Game Preview: Hartford Public vs. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy

The Hartford Public Owls will head out to challenge the Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, neither Hartford Public nor Weaver could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sports & Medical Sciences Academy). Their defense stepped up to hand CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy] a 10-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

With that draw, Hartford Public's record moves to 5-2-3. As for Sports & Medical Sciences Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
