Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Comes Up Short

Hillsdale lost against Smithville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hillsdale Falcons lost to the Smithville Smithies at home by a 70-52 margin.

Hillsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Smithville, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

The future could be bright for both Hillsdale and Smithville: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Hillsdale will try to hand Rittman their tenth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Smithville will look to extend Bard Early College's five-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st.
