Volleyball Recap: Borden Wins Going Away Against Corydon Central

Borden's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Corydon Central Panthers 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

While Borden might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Corydon Central scored at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-23.

Kinley Ledbetter was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 15 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Borden's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Corydon Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.

Borden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Orleans on the 9th. As for Corydon Central, after both having extra time off, they and Madison will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
