Morton entered their tilt with Mt. Zion on Saturday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Braves. The Potters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Braves, too.

Mt. Zion's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Ball, who had seven assists and three aces.

Morton's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Mt. Zion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13.

Morton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Normal University on the 11th. As for Mt. Zion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Tri-Valley on the 11th.
