Volleyball Recap: Wilcox-Hildreth Comes Up Short

Wilcox-Hildreth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Pleasanton Bulldogs. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Wilcox-Hildreth ultimately came up short, they really made Pleasanton work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-18.

Camryn Bunger paced Wilcox-Hildreth's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bunger got some help from Cheyenne Lieb and her 15 assists. Dinah Culp controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Wilcox-Hildreth's loss dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Pleasanton, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.

Wilcox-Hildreth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Southern Valley on the 23rd. As for Pleasanton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Ansley/Litchfield on the 24th.
