Football Recap: Manchester Piles Up the Points Against Brandywine + How To Watch

Manchester had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 40-point drubbing they dealt Brandywine on Friday. The Flying Dutchmen claimed a resounding 54-14 victory over the Bobcats.

Manchester can attribute much of their success to Walter Ahrens, who rushed for 92 yards and one score on only 12 carries. That's the most rushing yards Ahrens has posted since back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Brandywine still got an impressive performance from Kaeden Warfield, who rushed for 125 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries.

Manchester now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brandywine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester will square off against Grass Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flying Dutchmen will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Brandywine, they will face off against Berrien Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
