Volleyball Game Preview: Eagle Academy vs. Science Park Chargers

Eagle Academy is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will face off against the Science Park Chargers at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Eagle Academy is leaving town to face Science Park after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Eagle Academy fell 2-0 to Glen Ridge on Friday.

Meanwhile, Science Park came up short against West Orange on Friday and fell 2-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Science Park was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 33-31.

Eagle Academy couldn't quite get it done against Science Park when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can Eagle Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
