Basketball Recap: Glenwood City Wins Going Away Against Spooner

Glenwood City had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Spooner Rails on Monday as the Glenwood City Hilltoppers made off with a 59-39 win.

Glenwood City's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Spooner, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenwood City has already played their next game (against Boyceville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Spooner will face off against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
