Football Recap: Brenham Beats Liberty Hill for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

Brenham extended their postseason success on Friday against Liberty Hill. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 27-24. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Brenham had a senior duo take command as Cartelle Brown gained 152 total yards and two touchdowns and Xyran Upshaw threw for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Upshaw's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Brenham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Trelyn Kelly and Ledrick Walker Jr.
