Basketball Recap: Brocton Comes Up Short

Brocton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Westfield Wolverines 61-20. The Bulldogs lost against the Wolverines in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 91-8 score last time.

Brocton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Westfield, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brocton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against West Valley Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westfield, they will be playing at home against Panama at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
