Baseball Recap: Maple River Comes Up Short

Maple River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers, falling 11-5. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Maple River's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Maple River has already played their next contest (against Hatton/Northwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, they will face off against New Ulm Cathedral at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
