Soccer Recap: Sikeston Comes Up Short

Sikeston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Central Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Sikeston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Sikeston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they will square off against Notre Dame at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Central surely won't give up without a fight.
